Our activities include designing and implementing mentoring programmes, orientation activities, retention strategies, and support initiatives tailored to both achieving and at-risk students. We also develop programme guidelines, training materials, and evaluation frameworks to continually improve our services and impact.
The Unit runs the First Year Experience programme, Gateway to Success, and postgraduate and part-time student orientation programmes.

The SRC is directly elected by you, the student body, to be its voice in the highest decision making-structures like Council and Senate of the University. Each year elections are held and all students are eligible to vote for a new SRC. Elections are governed and monitored by the 足球竞彩app排名 Governance Division.

The Postgraduate Association represents the interests of postgraduate students at Wits.
WCCO promotes active citizenship and community service by encouraging Witsies to donate their time, skills and talents to volunteer for local communities. Volunteerism is an essential part of community engagement, which is the third pillar of higher education.
