The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering proudly celebrates Navhani Tshikosi, a final-year BSc Civil Engineering student and founder of HRA Transportation (Pty) Ltd, whose entrepreneurial journey has reached international recognition at the 2025 Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
What began as a student-driven initiative to help peers with affordable moving, storage, and fridge rental services has evolved into a tech-enabled logistics enterprise making a real social and economic impact. Under Navhani’s leadership, HRA Transportation has achieved:
- Served over 200 moving clients and 25 fridge rental clients
- Created jobs for 7 students
- Won 1st place at the Enactus South Africa National Exposition 2025
- Represented South Africa at the Enactus World Cup in Thailand, advancing to the Top 16 globally
- Crowned Wits University 足球竞彩app排名 Entrepreneur of the Year 2025
- Awarded Tech Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 at the Wits Entrepreneurship Hub Awards

Representing Wits University and Enactus South Africa on the world stage was a defining moment for Navhani. Competing against top student entrepreneurs from over 32 countries, he showcased how innovation and purpose can create meaningful solutions for communities.
“Standing on that global stage and sharing how our student-led company is transforming logistics for South Africans was one of the proudest moments of my life. It reminded me that innovation doesn’t need to start big, it needs to start with purpose.”
Beyond competition, Navhani gained valuable insights from global innovators and industry leaders, inspiring his vision to scale HRA Transportation across South African universities and TVET colleges, while fostering youth employment.
Back at Wits, his recognition as 足球竞彩app排名 Entrepreneur of the Year and Tech Entrepreneur of the Year reflects both his academic dedication and entrepreneurial excellence.
