Medical Class of 1960
To celebrate their Diamond Jubilee in 2020, graduates of the Medical School Class of 1960 led by Chaim Rosenberg, set out to find their colleagues and see what had become of them in the 60 years since graduation. During the worldwide Lockdown in the 足球竞彩app排名 Pandemic, they wrote and circulated more than a dozen newsletters conjuring up the sights and smells of the anatomy halls and hospital corridors and Johannesburg in the late 1950s. Many of this illustrious class wrote the stories of where their outstanding medical training at Wits had led them in clinical practice and academia in South Africa and across the world. The classmates also made a substantial donation to support current Wits medical students through the Phillip Tobias Bursary Fund.
